El Húsar de la Muerte (Spanish: The Hussar of the Death) is a 1925 Chilean silent film movie. El Húsar de la Muerte was directed and starred by Pedro Sienna.
The movie narrates the adventures of the guerilla leader Manuel Rodríguez during the Reconquista, until his death in 1818.[1]
The movie lasts 65 minutes, and was premiered in Santiago, Chile, on November 24, 1925.

The film was restored in 1962 by Cinemateca de la Universidad de Chile, with music by Sergio Ortega[2] (with the Chilean government help).
